Glacier Meadows Solar helps Lenawee Community Foundation with gift to support Imagination Library

The Glacier Meadows Solar team was delighted to visit the Lenawee Community Foundation to deliver funds to support an Imagination Library book mailing for local children enrolled in the program.

The Imagination Library program was originally launched to support literacy skills and to emphasize the importance of reading to children during their critical brain development years. Communities that have implemented the Imagination Library have seen 70% of participating families reading more to their children, and kindergarten teachers report that these children are better prepared to learn when they start school.  Any child aged 5 or younger can be enrolled in the program.

Once registered, books are mailed to their home each month. The funds from Glacier Meadows Solar will be used for the September 2025 delivery.
