Ørsted Sponsors River Raisin Ragtime Extravaganza, Celebrating Adrian’s Bicentennial
Ørsted was delighted to serve as a headline sponsor for the River Raisin Ragtime Extravaganza at the Adrian Bicentennial Celebration on Saturday, July 5th. The event took place at the Planewave Arts and Science Manufacturing Campus and featured a mix of performers, including Adrian’s own Braxton Garza and the Tejano band Los Hermanos, along with talented artists from Detroit, Toledo, and New York who helped bring the day-long celebration to life.
The Extravaganza honored Adrian’s rich history while looking ahead to its bright future. The R4 orchestra performed heartfelt musical tributes to the city, filling the campus with a sense of pride and celebration. Local history and service organizations hosted booths and interactive exhibits, while the Planewave team led science tours showcasing their new campus. Adding to the excitement, the Adrian Center for the Arts celebrated its 10th anniversary with art exhibitions and outdoor craft demonstrations for visitors of all ages.
